WHO’S BEEN SITTING ON SHURE’S BLUE COUCH
Leading Microphone Manufacturer Introduces New Advertising/Marketing Campaign
NILES, IL, January 18, 2007 — What do pop diva Christina Aguilera, genre-bending guitarist Wyclef Jean and pop-punk rockers Yellowcard have in common?
They will all be introduced at this year’s Winter NAMM show as featured artists in Shure Incorporated’s new Blue Couch advertising and marketing campaign.
“We’re really excited about this program and we hope that our customers will be, too,“ said Terri Hartman, Director of Marketing Communications. “The Blue Couch campaign was created to showcase Shure’s professional products and the diverse group of artist endorsers who use them.”
Print ads will debut in the NAMM dailies before hitting several other pro audio and music industry trade magazines. Online banner ads will also start to appear beginning with the Winter NAMM show.
“In addition to the Blue Couch print ads, we’re also introducing a new artist relations section on our website,” added Hartman. “The content in this new section presents a more unique, in-depth look at our artists, which we hope will give visitors to our site a more personalized experience with our endorsers. They’re talking about their music, what inspires them, their influences…they’re not just talking about their microphones.”
